Shows were paid for with Amazon® or PayPal® before an account was set up on dancarlin.com

The best way to download purchases is to make sure and sign up on the dancarlin.com website before ordering and finalizing the payment.

The dancarlin.com website will setup an account automatically when paying with Amazon® or Paypal® if an account was not set up before the order. If the order was made and an account was set up automatically, the email address used for the payment should receive an email with password instructions. To get a password in case the email does not arrive please use the utility to

reset the password

to have the website email a link to set up a password. For issues please email “Ben” help(at)dancarlin.com with the order number or payment information like the email used to make the payment to sort things out.

How to get purchased Hardcore History into the Apple® Podcasts app?

After you’ve purchased a show(s) you’ll see the order details page which will have the links to the MP3 files as well as mobile links associated with the history episodes.

When the order is finished, please log into dancarlin.com with the iOS device, like an iPhone or iPad, using the Safari Browser. Once logged in you will be redirected to the “My Account” page in the Merchandise menu which will have a link to the “Orders” page with each individual order and a link to the “Downloads” page which will have the MP3 files and links.  The mobile link for the history episode, series, or compilation will be in the download page as well as the page associated with the order. The mobile link will redirect through the news app which “Open” should be selected

Then “subscribe” to the podcast when the Apple podcast opens which will add the episode, series or compilation to the podcast app as a new podcast located in the “My Podcasts” area of the app which is a button towards the bottom of the app.

If you purchased the 1-39 compilation or one of the multi part series, please make sure to be in the “Feed” section (not unplayed) to display all the available shows.

Currently, we only support the mobile link with the Apple® Podcast app however we are aware that it will also work on some Android® podcast apps as well as some 3rd party iOS apps. Both Android® and Apple® have 3rd party MP3 downloads apps available to download the MP3 files directly to the device as well. If you successfully get the mobile link to work on your favorite Android podcast player or a 3rd party Apple® Podcast app please let us know by emailing “Ben” help(at)dancarlin.com

Money or Funds have been removed from my account but the order is still “Pending” on the dancarlin.com website

Occasionally we have payment module glitches that affect the orders. “Ben” (if there is a “Ben”) sometimes goes through these however if you have been waiting for hours and the payment is still pending, it was most likely a glitch in the system.

We know this can be very frustrating and we apologize for the inconvenience. You’ve done everything right, it’s our fault and we are working on solutions to minimize this. Please email “Ben” – help(at)dancarlin.com with your order number to fix the order

 Mobile link not properly working outside the United States

Apple recently changed the way they handle RSS feeds (your mobile link) which affects folks outside the United States.  The mobile link will work however the device will need to have the region temporarily changed to the United States. This can be done in the settings part of the iOS device and after the region is changed, please reboot the device by holding both buttons down until it shuts down and restarts.

The Mobile links associated with the history episodes should then work and open the Apple podcast app after being redirected through the news app.

If any other dialogue box appears please double click your home button and close Safari browser. Re-open Safari browser and click link again. This will reset Safari browser and News app dialogue box will appear. Apple will most likely fix this bug in future iOS 9 updates.
