I personally like small breasts. It's sad to think that in Australia I might be considered a pedophile just because of that:

Quote:
The proposed Australian Government clampdown on smut just got a whole lot broader, as news emerged of a ban on small breasts and female ejaculation in adult material.

The end result of this widening of the censor’s net could be the addition of millions of websites to the internet filter now being proposed.

Breasts came under the spotlight a year ago, as Senators Barnaby Joyce and Guy Barnett commenced a campaign against publicly available porn. Rounding up magazines from corner shops and filling stations, Senator Joyce claimed that publications featuring small-breasted women were encouraging paedophilia.

The result of this campaign is now visible in the decisions being made by the Australian Classification Board, which is beginning to apply RC (refused classification) categories to such material, as opposed to the previous X-rating. According to Fiona Patten, Convenor of the Australian Sex Party: "We are starting to see depictions of women in their late 20s being banned because they have an A cup size.

"It may be an unintended consequence of the Senator’s actions but they are largely responsible for the sharp increase in breast size in Australian adult magazines of late."

Mainstream companies such as Larry Flint’s Hustler produce some of the publications that have been banned. These companies are regulated by the FBI to ensure that only adult performers are featured in their publications.

At the same time, the Australian Sex Party claims, Federal government censors are directing Customs officials to confiscate depictions of the female orgasm when it is accompanied with an ejaculation, as the Classification Board is also starting to classify films that feature female ejaculation as RC. Films that show both male and female ejaculation have routinely been given an X rating since 1983.

The new ruling follows a boom in the numbers of adult films featuring female ejaculation since the pioneering research of Professor Emeritus Beverly Whipple was published in her book The G Spot.

The films are being banned on one of two grounds:

1) That the depictions are a form of urination which is banned under the label of ‘golden showers’ in the Classification Guidelines or

2) Female ejaculation is an ‘abhorrent’ depiction

However, as Ms Patten points out, one of the objections raised the Board is that film performers have been faking the production of ejaculate: this suggests that they are trying to both have their cake and eat it on this issue, since if the liquid in question is fake, there is no policy requiring the censorship of douching or enemas.

In terms of impact on the net, The Australian Sex Party (ASP) suggests the impact could be enormous, as not only are banned sites to be blocked – but also sites that link to banned sites are also in line for blocking. The ASP argue: "There are over one million sites featuring female ejaculation and for Australia to be banning depictions and discussion of this important issue, takes us back into the Victorian era where they didn’t even believe that women could have orgasms."

Both issues have featured recently in Europe. Back in November 2008, Hustler Europe filed a constitutional complaint against a section of German law that criminalises sales and distribution of content depicting "adult actors who show a youthful appearance".

Meanwhile, the question of female ejaculation continues to be hotly debated in the UK, as film director Anna Span claims that the BBFC have now acknowledged its existence, whilst the BBFC continues to deny they have done any such thing.

And back in Australia, so great was the outrage over the Classification Board's actions that the ASP website went down under the weight of traffic. ®

Is it me, or is Australia going nuts with the ban stick lately? Everytime I turn around they are banning something: porn, video games, movies, etc. I wonder how the average Australian feels about this, it has to be frustrating at times I would think.

What are the chances that this d-bag Joyce just got caught by a neighbor, buying porn and went on a crusade to cover his tracks?

Wow, whats the basis for this type of reaction? I mean at least in the US we have a Puritanical, in the literal sense, past that could explain portions of our populace attempting to ban 'smut'. Do the Wallabies have such a component in their population? I thought they were much more "European" and "progressive" than the US.

Just as a side note, I believe in F.E. as I have witnessed it firsthand.
Didn't think it was abhorrent. :hiding:

As an aussie my first thought is to .

Unfortunately I think that a large section of the community is socially conservative. I think thats the right word, the 'old fashioned', 'family' values crowd and they generally tend to be swing voters. So both the major political parties leap at the chance to be the ones standing up for family values, which is a shame none of them have any courage to look at the greater issues involved with censoring the internet.

Its same sort of thing when it comes to having an R rating for computer games. Politicians see that there are more votes if they jump on the moral band wagon and say that games are violent or contain sexual content. Yet they have never actually played the games they are demonising.

Barnaby Joyce is a tool no doubt about it.

He scraped into the Senate six years ago and made a name for himself by saying he wouldn't toe the party line in voting bills through the Senate and found himself holding the casting vote in the Senate. So he has since been labelled the 'maverick' and has gotten more media coverage and publicity that certainly exceeded the small percentage of votes he actually won.

You can kind of admire him for not toeing the party line. But really he was just a lucky bastard from the country who was there to take up space on the ballot paper, ended up a Senator and with large chunk of power as the added kicker.

So while this is just added to the long list of ridiculous Barnaby Joyce comments, there are plenty who would think he is speaking the truth and dont question the ridiculous assertions he often makes. :splody:

There was a post about this a while back, but the thing that I think of is:

How does this make Australian women who have small breast feel? "Oh you can't be in porn"

"I don't want to be in porn, I'm Catho--"

"No, you can't be in porn because you LOOK LIKE A CHILD!"

"I'm 37!"

"Yeah, sorry, your tits are too small, it would be ILLEGAL, oh and that tape you made with your boyfriend last year? Yeah, hes going to jail for KIDDIE porn, because he obviously must be a pedophile if he would sleep with someone like you with such small boobs."

I mean, I know there are pretty high standard for women to live up to with T.V. shows and magazines and movies pushing a certain image but I never expected the GOVERNMENT to be pushing it in any official moves, but that seems to be exactly what they have done here.

"No one wants to jerk off to your ugly, small titted ass."

Scary.

Its not because we're conservative, it's because we're politically complacent. The anti-Iraq war protests, the biggest in Aus history, got shut down and what happened? Everyone just went home.

This country just really pisses me off sometimes.
