Someone has called very clear that the emperor has no clothes.

CS has been calling out how badly gov't bodies/employees have been pro business/corps and then picking up jobs for ages

This is a well written article that every American should read as it illustrates perfectly one of the biggest problems facing this country.

It begins by listing people's names and then goes on to explain how their Wall Street companies fleeced the public and that they belong be in jail. All true. They should be in jail.

But then the article's main argument falls completely apart and I doubt readers of Rolling Stone even realized it at all. The writer states the SEC needs more regulations and even more regulatory power so they can put these guys in jail. Then he goes on to list example after example of how the SEC and Justice Department conspired to let these swindlers off scott free. In other words, the "cops" patrolling Wall Street refused to enforce existing law and therefore the writer's obvious solution is to give them even more authority? Wow. That's scary.

But nonetheless, I can just picture a Rolling Stone reader wading through the article nodding his head in agreement with every sentence, not even realizing the writer makes a perfect case for prosecuting the co-conspirators within the SEC and Justice Department. Not once does he mention investigating these government bodies. No, the problem can't be with the government, we all love big government, right? Let's give those dirty cops ever more power.

And that's why every American should read this article. It illustrates perfectly a huge problem we have in this country today. Instead of prosecuting all the bad guys, let's ignore the dirty cops, they're OK because they're with the government. It's a mind set that scares the hell out of me.
