Last year's Secret Santa project went really well, so I thought I'd organize one for this year as well. You can use the following form to volunteer to be a Secret Santa this year:

I'll accept submissions until the 26th, then I'll send everybody their Secret Santa assignments and you can get busy on picking out and sending your gifts.

I believe the limit we set last year was $15, but you can spend only a few bucks if you want. Just try to make the gift thoughtful, maybe a souvenir from the part of the world/country that you live in.

Also feel free to post in here talking about your interests in order to give your Secret Santa an idea for what you might want to get.

And consider buying your gifts from Dan's amazon search Window to help out the show:

Awesome, I was hoping this would make a come back.

I may just have to get in to it this year.

Anyone who participated last year want to advocate for it?
How'd it go?

Hell, DB, you're the only reason I didn't get in last year.

A small part of me believed you're enough of an evil genius that you'd find a way to ship flaming dog poop.

Then you know how I'm feeling while I look at this text area where I'm supposed to enter my address.

Wondering how many pizza's could possibly be sent to one address.
:suspicious:

Just remember who we're talking about here . . .

This year, though, I know better, and I know that DB would probably send a very thoughtful gift.

Edited because it didn't read as funny as it wrote.

I participated and thought it was pretty cool.

I received a very thoughtful gift from someone who waaaay overpaid against the cap. It also had the virtue of acurately predicting the gentleman who would subsequently be named as this year's only inductee in to the Baseball Hall of Fame! :goteam:

So, thanks again Secret Santa of Christmas Past! :drunk:

I sent my guy a highly acclaimed new book on a broad and difficult historical topic which he'd been posting about . . . he said he liked the gift, but I still await a book review.

So, I recommend this and will again participate.

I'm in... and I know how to send flaming poop via US Postal Service....

But I wouldn't do that, would I? :BMR:

Never mind the flaming dog poop.

I want this!

http://www.amazon.com/Party-Pooper-Fake-Human-Poop/dp/B001O8F0W0/ref=pd_bxgy_sg_img_b

I'd be willing to carry a supply of these everywhere I go.

Along with rubber cement to make fake boogers to put on drinking fountains.

I'll be turning 15 next year, btw.

One year I bought my family a bunch of poop themed gifts as a gag, such as the adorable pee and poo stuffed dolls from http://www.peeandpoo.com:

Or the Monthly Doo's calendar, a beautiful picture of a dog turd each month including a bio on the dog that did it:

Image

And there's a cute meme in Japan where you can buy golden poo which is supposed to bring you good luck:

Also from Japan, here's Unko (poo) San and his friend Corn San:

They've even got an 18k gold poo available if you want to give something special to that special lady in your life:
