Holy crap you bastards need to have your heads examined.

Quote:
(CNN) -- Before he accepted Barack Obama's offer to join his presidential ticket, Joe Biden got a promise from Obama: that he would be there for "every critical decision," Biden said in an interview broadcast Sunday.

Speaking to ABC's "This Week," Biden said he believes the vice president's role is to provide "the best, sagest, most accurate, most insightful advice and recommendations he or she can make to a president to help them make some of the very, very important decisions that have to be made."

When Obama talked to him about the vice-presidential slot, Biden recalled, "I said, 'I don't want to be picked unless you're picking me for my judgment. I don't want to be the guy that goes out and has a specific assignment. ... I want a commitment from you that in every important decision you'll make, every critical decision, economic and political, as well as foreign policy, I'll get to be in the room.'"

Biden said President-elect Obama has kept the promise, having Biden in the room for all of his decisions about who will fill key posts in the administration.

Biden will have a specific assignment as the new administration gets under way, however. Come Inauguration Day, he will be the working families czar, so to speak.

I want to be the studious children czar. Also the hopeful-but-terminally-ill-patient czar.

I am the Czar of my working family (actually, I'm a puppet Czar. . .my wife is the Czarina). I don't need Joe Biden's help. Something tells me that his "help" is coming whether I want it or not. :x

Weren't the Czars fairly HARSH toward working families? Are we sure this is the title we want to use?

I'd love to be the cheese czar. Or the chocolate czar. Maybe the burrito czar too, if that isn't asking too much.

Yes, Czar is a stupid term for an unenlightened practice (I believe in emergent order, b/t/w).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there's never been a "Task Force" that's made a damn bit of difference. Will Biden's "Working Families Task Force" break with history? I doubt it....

Only if they include his name in the title. Joe Biden Presents, a Joe Biden Production, Joe Biden's Working Familes Task Force.

We should rename the Secretary of the Navy to the Sea Czar.

Then we could call one of his lawyers his Special Assistant for Legal Affairs and Defense. He would be the Sea Czar SALAD.

We could call the CEO of the company that sells those orange drinks the Julius Czar

By now I'm sure you're groaning about how corny I am but I'd just like to point out that I passed up on the one for the mayor of that city near Rome...

Hilarious, but if we are calling czar rights, I'm the czar of video games.

Unfortunately, the President who appointed you is beholden to contributors from the Boston Beer Company. . .please pass the Boston Lager. :snicker:
