I want to buy some Dan Carlin merch that I can show off at work, but a t-shirt wouldn't go well with the office dress code. Are there any office-friendly items that I can order? Coffee mugs, pens, mouse pads, etc? By the way, speaking of t-shirts, weren't there some older designs that aren't available anymore?

I wasn't hugely taken by any of them. I was also a bit uncertain about US T-shirt sizing. I didn't want to end up with a tent. So I like your suggestion.

I am looking into other merchandise. Coffee mugs will most likely be at the top of the list.

I'd go for something less wordy. Just your logo on the front, perhaps with "Dan Carlin" in small font beneath it like in your avatar.

Dan wrote: Well...what would you like in a shirt? We plan to add or change designs pretty often...and Lord knows we ain't artists around here...what would you like to be wearing? Since the current t-shirts all feature quotes/slogans on them, I have a couple I thought I'd throw out there: "America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." ~ President Abraham Lincoln "I'll show you politics in America. Here it is, right here. 'I think the puppet on the right shares my beliefs.' 'I think the puppet on the left is more to my liking.' 'Hey, wait a minute, there's one guy holding out both puppets!' " ~ Bill Hicks, Rant in E-Minor (released posthumously, 1997) Dan Carlin: Speaking out against the two-party system since 1994. Another idea I had was a shirt with the Common Sense logo on one side, and something to the effect of "Where independent thinkers go for informed political discussion." One last suggestion...maybe there's a way to incorporate the image below into a t-shirt design (it doesn't seem to be copyrighted, as far as I could tell). Just a few ideas I had, anyway.

Also, the slogans/quotes/logos I suggested would also work well on the other merchandise I suggested.

Dan wrote: Well...what would you like in a shirt? We plan to add or change designs pretty often...and Lord knows we ain't artists around here...what would you like to be wearing? Well you just ain't ever going to please everybody. I didn't think they were bad; they just didn't grab me. And I currently have quite a few merchandising T-shirts that I never get around to wearing. My only suggestions would be: 1. Make it funny 2. Keep it integrated with the show. I don't know where the "rated unacceptable" quote came from but I hadn't heard it on the show 3. Maybe go with some of the sayings from your voice-over man (what's his name again? I couldn't find any credits on the web site) 4. Don't listen to suggestions from anonymous posters on your web site p.s. I was just looking at your merchandise page and noticed the following: Quote: Click the "Make a donation" button to the right and feel free to give any amount you would like.*
*Please contact us directly for donations exceeding $1,000,000 Now that reads 1 million dollars to me. Would you throw in a free t-shirt at that level, Dan?

What I like to see on a tee-shirt is a pocket. I'd buy one of each and all forthcoming, if they had pockets. Why don't nobody make no more tee-shirts with pocketses?

Plus, rolling up my little left sleeve reveals my unsightly smallpox scar.

Shit, my 90 year old granny could kill a bison with a big enough gun. How does that make someone tough? Now, to kill one on horseback with a bow and arrow is another story.

I could use a Dan Carlin stein (preferably glass).
