Last year's Secret Santa project went really well, so I thought I'd organize one for this year as well. You can use the following form to volunteer to be a Secret Santa this year:



I'll accept submissions until the 26th, then I'll send everybody their Secret Santa assignments and you can get busy on picking out and sending your gifts.

I believe the limit we set last year was $15, but you can spend only a few bucks if you want. Just try to make the gift thoughtful, maybe a souvenir from the part of the world/country that you live in.

Also feel free to post in here talking about your interests in order to give your Secret Santa an idea for what you might want to get.

I participated and thought it was pretty cool.

I received a very thoughtful gift from someone who waaaay overpaid against the cap. It also had the virtue of acurately predicting the gentleman who would subsequently be named as this year's only inductee in to the Baseball Hall of Fame!

I sent my guy a highly acclaimed new book on a broad and difficult historical topic which he'd been posting about . . . he said he liked the gift, but I still await a book review.

So, I recommend this and will again participate.
