Apparently once the shows cease to be free, you can't see the show-notes anymore, so nothing on the Punic series. Maybe this is something that Parrot or somebody could fix?
Polybius is a great read. deals extensively within the Punic wars period. Unfortunately the part of the story he actually witnessed (the third Punic war) was mostly lost and we only have snippets. Appian's Roman History is IMHO the best description of the Punic wars. He is vivid in his descriptions of the battles and the politics back home. One of my favorite ancient writers.
