It was really pretty dramatic, in a three-stooges kind of way.
Lots of "You're a fuckingbigotasshole spouting hate speech and pure evil at Catholics" stuff on one side, and lots of "Magical thinkers are really not that smart" stuff on the other.
He totally quit for about 22 hours.
Maybe someone else can find the threads. I think it was right before "the break." Here's the "Last Post" thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=27536Here's the "I'm Done" thread. See page 3. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=27511

Interesting nostalgia... not exactly evidence of sockpuppetry.

It was the culmination of a prolonged escalation. There's room for shame on both sides. But more on one side than on the other.

Well Strangelove played the bigot card, having a opinion that is against religion is not bigotry, spiting at Catholics because they are Catholics is bigotry, burning Catholic Church's because they are Catholic is bigotry. But have a opinion that criticises religion is not bigotry.

Does the Bigot card outrank the Race card? And what's the deal with the one-eyed Jacks?

I cant understand why it is so hard to say "i screwed up, i am sorry", i do it all the time (if i screw up that is) it really doesn't cost you anything and no one counts its against you.
