Why does the publish date say Saturday, February 26? Saturday was the 27th.
Either way, good podcast as usual Mr. Carlin. The insight about the Supreme Court attempting to be free of inherent conflicts of the time while being a politically appointed court mired in the politics at the time of their appointment really struck home for me.

This is the one to listen to. I like most episodes, but this is the best one yet.

I really liked it. Here in Peru, my fellow countrymen, angry and confused about crime and lack of police efficiency, are ready to throw away any constitutional protection for their privacy in order to “get the bad guys.” They even tried to pass a law saying the the police could get your phone records without court authorization if it was “urgent.” Of course, the “what are you hiding?” line was used.
Terrible, it did’t pass.
