This entire series is about the unnerving and horrific experiences during the Eastern front. It is utterly fascinating… I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. Great movies like ‘Downfall’ and ‘Enemy at the Gates’ have nothing on this. Perfectly expressed with Dan Carlin’s typical absorption in the ‘what-if’ and details of war waged through Stalinism and Hiterlism… In this conflict there are no winners-

Was on the edge of my seat and had nightmares for days on end after finishing this series. Unbelievable what we humans can move on from. No good guys, no bad guys in this story — only hysteria and psychosis. Just one huge tragedy none of us as humans should ever forget. Thank you Dan! That was a very worthy purchase.
