    This is the best of the best history podcast on the pod-o-sphere. There is nothing better out there. As always, Dan Carlin pulls from all the sources and gets into it in the most interesting ways. With the Mongol empire, I feel that he has one of the most interesting pieces of history to discuss. Simply amazing.

    Dan knocks another one out of the park. With so much Eurocentric history we get in the West, it’s nice to learn something of the other half of the world. I came away with both a better understanding of the Mongols and a deeper understanding of how Asia and the Muslim world ended up being dominated by the West.
